You don't need sony vegas to make an mmv o: In fact I use a programme on the Mac which is very simular to PowerPoint called Keynote to do stop-motion frame by frame animation and then record my screen with QuickTime Player and play the presentation. Then after timing everything right I save the recorded file and import it into iMovie (it's kind of like windows movie maker) and edit it to how I like and add the music. Then I export it into QuickTime Player again and when done, I put onto YouTube. ^^
